Špaček Scores First Extraliga Career Goal, Others Impress in Week 2

The 2014-15 Extraliga season continued with Week 2 and while some of the prospects had their ice-time cut to a minimum, others did a great job to impress even more than they had during Week 1. A total of 14 under-20 players combined for one goal and four assists, along with a +1 rating, 6 penalty minutes and 12 hits over two gamedays.
Week 2 was particularly special for the touted Pardubice prospect for the 2015 NHL Entry Draft Michael Špaček who scored his first Extraliga career goal on Gameday 4, adding an assists in the following game, lifting his stock to first-round hopeful with the achievement. Špaček is a permanent member of the third line in Pardubice and as a center, he’s also good at faceoffs with 50 percent in Week 2.
However, it wasn’t Špaček who had the most ice-time out of all Extraliga juniors. Sparta’s Martin Réway, playing for Slovakia internationally, had just as much as the Pardubice youngster and managed to score 3 assists over about 28 minutes of play. Vítkovice defenseman Lukáš Klok is, with 42 minutes of ice-time over Week 2 the most go-to of all Extraliga juniors, racking up 4 PIM, 2 shots on goal and 2 hits along with a +1 rating.
